Our Team

Greg is an Investment Advisor, with more than 15 years experience and significant qualifications. He is a Certified Financial Professional, a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®). The latter designation is widely viewed as the gold standard for investment advisors. He launched the Lindsay branch office for Investment Planning Counsel in 2006.

His approach is to help clients understand their financial position relative to their financial objectives. He establishes a disciplined process to help people reach goals. His efforts are focussed on helping clients preserve assets, increase income, and reduce income taxes. He explains investment options in a manner that is easy to understand. Further, he adapts an investment plan to suit each client's personal comfort level. He is often described as being friendly, outgoing, and having a great sense of humour. Greg is accessible and is willing to make house calls when that is necessary.

As an Investment Advisor at IPC Securities Corporation, Greg is supported by one of Canada's largest financial services corporations, Power Financial, whose interests include prominent brands such as Investors Group, and Mackenzie Investments.

He has been sourced for local seminars, nationally broadcast radio programs, and publications, including Maclean's Magazine, Canadian MoneySaver Magazine and Kawartha Lakes This Week. Currently Greg is Secretary for the Kawartha Lakes Estate Planning Counsel and is a Board Member for the Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce.

Dustin joined our team in September 2023 as an Administrative Assistant, focusing on the IIROC operations in our branch. He was born and raised in Lindsay and graduated from Trent University in 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics. Dustin also holds additional post-secondary certificates in Financial Accounting and Data Analytics.

Due to his excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, his experience is primarily concentrated in office administration, accounting, and project management. More recently, Dustin has acquired experience in retail banking and mutual funds administration, which allowed him to complete the Canadian Investment Funds Course™ (CIFC), a license commonly held among mutual fund administrators.

His high standard of professionalism and punctual nature consistently ensure that requests from clients and his advisor are completed on time and with care to maintain the highly regarded client experience that one comes to expect from IPC. Dustin likes to ensure positive and memorable interactions with all of our clients and is always willing to help and surpass their expectations.
